The most romantic hotels in the world according to TripAdvisor reviews
Whether you like it or not – romance is in the air!
But instead of getting all mushy about love and relationships, which is a topic I’m not really good at, I’ve listed down some of the world’s most swoon-worthy hotels. Well, at least according to reviews from TripAdvisor.
Below are its top ten romantic hotels in the world in order of 10-1.
- The Falls Montville – Montville, Australia
If you’re looking for a romantic retreat in a secluded rainforest, you could go down under at The Falls Montville.
The hotel is popular for hosting weddings, proposals, anniversaries, and plain old romantic weekend getaways. Guests could either stay at one of their six cottages, each with a romantic spa as pictured above, or they could stay at its magnificent Manor House. Either way, they could enjoy the same romantic activities such as visiting cliff-edge cafes, art galleries, cheese factories, wineries and chocolatiers. Plus, the coast is just 30 minutes away.
- The Old Rectory Hotel – Wales, United Kingdom
The Old Rectory Hotel is a stylish boutique country house in Llangattock that dates back to the 16th century. It’s ideal for elegant wedding receptions and honeymoons because of its vast and beautiful grounds set against the backdrop of the Black Mountains. Also, the building was once home to the celebrated poet Henry Vaughan, making it a truly romantic place.
Here’s a Valentine idea – you could book a night here and tantalize your loved one with a lovely poem that you wrote!
- Riad Kheirredine – Marrakech, Morocco
The Riad Kheirredine is a 5-star luxury hotel with a courtyard garden at its heart. It’s an exclusive oasis with an exquisite Moroccan vibe located in the vibrant market city of Marrakech. - Belamere Suites Hotel – Ohio, USA
This Belamere Suites Hotel is described as a romantic hideaway created just for couples.
Just this year, the hotel has been recognized as the overall winner in the Romance category of the 2018 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice awards for Hotels. It ranked number one in the U.S. and it was chosen based on the reviews and opinions accumulated in a single year.

Anastasis Apartments is a hidden gem in Greece, perched atop the cliffs of Caldera. It offers the natural beauty of nature, privacy, tranquillity, and according to numerous reviews – an excellent service.

And finally. Drum roll, please.
The most romantic hotel recognition goes to. . .
- Maison Souquet – Paris, France
As we all know, Paris is famous for being one of the most (if not the most) romantic places in the world.
The Maison Souquet offers a Parisian Romance package that comes with a rain of rose petals, a bottle of champagne, and other romantic amenities.
Its building used to serve as a pleasure house during the Belle Époque, which is one of the most extravagant and colourful times in the history of Paris. The hotel reflects this era with its sultry design that was created by Jacques Garcia, a renowned French interior designer who’s already designed some of the best hotels in the world.
Inside the hotel, your mind is urged to pursue pleasure in a fantasy setting, inspired through artwork and interior design.
