The Delivering Group, a Hong Kong-based hospitality and tourism
marketing company, has appointed Ali Powell as Director – UK &
Europe.
Ali has extensive experience working within the
hospitality sector and started her career with Hilton in September
1999. Ali stayed with Hilton for almost 5 years before joining
Whitbread (owner of the Premier Inn brand) and later the Royal Mail
Group.
In 2008, Ali joined IHG, staying with the company
for over 7 years and working her way through different positions
until she was appointed Head of Global Brands Planning and Trends
in March 2014.
Ali has also worked with Fitness First and
PegasusLife, and set up her own Marlow-based consultancy company
Commercial Acceleration in 2017.
Mark Simmons, Delivering Group Co-Founder and
Director, said, “Ali is
very well connected with the industry across the UK and Europe and
we’re keen to tap into her expertise in sales and marketing to
complement the suite of management services we currently provide
our clients.”
Ali has a Master’s Degree from the University of
Kent and Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3.
