NOW in its 11th year, the highly anticipated Vivid Sydney has taken over the Australian harbor city for a two-week run of music, ideas, and bedazzling lights.
From May 24 to June 15, locals and travelers alike will be treated to outdoor immersive light installations and projections, performances by local and international musicians, and an ideas exchange forum featuring public talks and debates with leading creative thinkers.
Sydney’s historic sights, such as the Sydney Opera House, Customs House, and Taronga Zoo Sydney are illuminated in brilliant color. In fact, more than 50 light works will be curated into the largest outdoor gallery of its kind in the southern hemisphere, stretching for more than three kilometers.
