Malaysia Airlines has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with UCSI Group, a Malaysian conglomerate that is
active in seven industry sectors: Education, Consultancy,
Healthcare, Hotels and Travel, Properties, Retail and Technology.
The MOU will see Malaysia Airlines and UCSI Group
work together on student placement, academic information and
knowledge exchange as well as the development of joint research
projects.
Employees of Malaysia Airlines will also be able
to take advantage of self-development programmes to further their
studies.
In addition, Malaysia Airlines will be the
official airline partner of UCSI Group allowing its students to
gain access to a whole host of benefits, including being able to
use Enrich Points to pay tuition fees and earn points when
students pay with cash or card. Enrich Points could also be used
UCSI Hospital medical screening packages.

national carrier, Malaysia Airlines and our sister companies in
the Malaysia Aviation Group, play a role that expands beyond just
providing aviation services but also in proactively supporting the
nation in human capital development, recognising the need to
prepare future-ready talents and build a pipeline of innovators to
serve the aviation or travel industry.
“We look forward to creating
collaborative works that will allow students to explore research
and development of Malaysia Airlines’ inflight products and
services such as meal service and inflight entertainment while
promoting a hands-on learning experience and working on exciting
projects with Malaysia Airlines.”
UCSI University ranks among the world’s top 350
varsities and is placed among the top 1.1% of the world’s
universities. In the QS World University Rankings 2022, the
University was ranked 347 in the world, also placing it as one of
the top seven universities in Malaysia.
In the QS World University Rankings by Subject
2021, UCSI’s Institute of Music emerged as the world’s top 50 in
the field of performing arts. Its Faculty of Hospitality and
Tourism Management was ranked as the world’s top 100 for
hospitality and leisure management, Faculty of Engineering was
ranked as the world’s top 150 for petroleum engineering, and
Faculty of Business Management was ranked as one of the world’s
top 300 business school in the world in the same exercise.
