Simon Barnett has been appointed as General Manager of
the Four Seasons
Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Simon Barnett
A veteran hotelier with 30 years of experience in the
hospitality industry,
including over a decade with Four Seasons, Simon started his
career in the front office of a five-star hotel in Brisbane before discovering a strong affinity
with sales.
Simon worked with Hilton and Jumeirah in London
and New York before joining the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney as
Director of Catering and Conference Services in 2011. Whilst in
Sydney, Simon was first promoted to Director of Sales, then
Director of Marketing and eventually Hotel Manager, before moving
to the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore in October 2019 as Hotel
Manager.
“The team has done an incredible job so far,
especially given the challenges over the last two years. As we
move ahead, our goal is to engage more deeply with the local
community and continue to deliver exceptional hospitality to
guests from around the world,” Simon said.
Simon, a rugby fan and CrossFit enthusiast, has
moved to Jakarta with his wife, Bozenka, and dog, Kanga.
