Heritage Cruises has announced the launch of Vietnam’s first artful boutique cruise on the Gulf of Tonkin and the Red River in Vietnam.
Heritage Cruises, a member of the Lux Group under the five-star Emperor Cruises brand, operates in Vietnam’s Nha Trang Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. To extend its services in the emerging tourist country, it will launch its first boutique cruise in the Cat Ba Archipelago in the Tonkin Gulf, along with a new website. The company is currently promoting through various travel trade shows and roadshows in Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Launching in May 2019, Heritage Cruises will offer exclusive cruises for 40 guests aboard an architecturally-designed boutique river and ocean cruise ship. Amenities include a luxury spa, movie under stars, two restaurants, indoor and outdoor lounges, pool bar and swimming pool and 20 suites with picture windows, offering river and ocean views.

“Like boutique hotels, boutique cruises are characterised by their intimate atmosphere and idiosyncratic style. They distinguish themselves from larger chain cruises by offering personalised attention and stylish, themed accommodation and a story to tell. Aside from offering a cosier atmosphere, the small size of this ship allows easy access to remote, less-visited places that larger vessels just can’t get to. This provides the chance to cruise the Gulf of Tonkin (Lan Ha Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and Halong Bay), complemented by personalised service and on-request limousine transfers, which Heritage Cruises offers.
