United Airlines has unveiled plans to launch nonstop
flights between Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and
London Heathrow (LHR).
United plans to operate the route with Boeing
767-300ER aircraft configured with 46 United Polaris Business
Class seats, 22 United Premium Plus seats, 43 United Economy Plus
seats and 56 United Economy seats.

Boston will be United’s 19th daily flight between the United
States and London Heathrow.
“We are thrilled to offer travelers a convenient,
non-stop option between Boston and London with this addition to
our global network,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s vice president
of International Network and Alliances. “We will continue to
monitor the demand recovery and travel restrictions as we finalize
a start date for this service later in 2021.”
The daily flights are scheduled to depart BOS at
22:00 and arrive in London at 09:35 the following day. The return
leg is timed to leave LHR at 17:00 and land at BOS at 19:30.
United has not yet confirmed when the flights will
begin, only that tickets are expected to be available for purchase in the coming weeks.
