Beef Tapa with scrambled egg

Tapa is a delicious dish of dried or cured beef, mutton, venison or horse meat, although other meat or even fish may be used.

It is prepared by using thin slices of meat cured with salt and spices as a preservation method, then cooked or grilled.

More often than not, tapa is served with garlic rice, java rice, or plain rice as well as condiments such as vinegar or ketchup.

Chicken Bicol Express

Traditionally cooked with pork, this dish is known for its rich, hot and spicy characteristics.

Chicken Bicol Express is prepared by stewing chicken fillet in coconut milk with lots of long green chili peppers and cayenne pepper.

A popular lunch dish, it is usually served with an extra plate of hot fluffy white rice.

No Filipino fiesta, particularly in Pampanga region, is complete without a feast of Kare-Kare.

Kare-Kare is a delectable Filipino stew made from a variation base of stewed oxtail, pork hocks, calves feet, pig feet, beef stew meat, or tripe.
